Drop In Lessons & Jam Sessions

Don't have a band? Maybe you don't want one. That's cool. We get it. Sometimes it's good to just get out of the house and rock out for a while. Drop us a line for news on open jam sessions, upcoming drop in classes, and other cool ways to get your groove on.

*these will usually be full band focused events. Drummer's & singers are encouraged to attend!

Think You're Too Busy For Lessons?

We understand.

That's why we've introduced....

Drop-In Classes, Jam Sessions & Workshops!

ONLY $10.00 per session!

Ideal for the busy music student/player. Especially adults and those who'd like an occasional refresher course. Or just a chance to have a structured jam session with other musicians. This is a whole new concept in music lessons.  So if you're unable to commit to a regular lesson appointment schedule, just check here to see or even request what's being taught in the weeks to come. Drop in classes are designed to help busy people learn without the strict time commitment of weekly, one on one music lessons. And at 10 bucks a pop it's super cheap too! But these sessions can fill up in a hurry so it's a good idea to reserve a spot.

  • Friday - Blues Workshops  With host Les Norton  7pm-12am

Blues Fundamentals (7 - 7:50 PM)

Learn to play the blues in this session.  The basic structure of the blues
is explained and presented in a manner that will give you a good foundation
for understanding the blues.  With basic instrumental skills you should be
able to follow and learn the skills needed to begin playing the blues.

Blues Workshop (8 - 9:50 PM)

Once your skills have developed, the Blues Workshop will help you develop
your skills playing with other musicians, learn new songs, understand the
variations of the blues and hone your skills as a player.  You will hear and
learn to play different interpretations of classic blues plus be introduced
to obscure or new blues.

Blues Jam (10 - 12 PM)

This is an all out blues jam for experienced players.  Bring your instrument
of choice and jam.  Reserve a spot for the night and play your favorite
Blues, or learn something new, or just jam.

To reserve a spot in one of these sessions, please contact the "Blues Host"
at SpotlightFridayBlues@GMail.com or

  • Rock Shop COMING SOON!

Rock workshops are the best way to prepare for playing live. All instruments are welcome and needed (especially singers!) We'll pick a classic or soon to be classic rock hit each week and learn and rehearse the tune as a group. You can also practice the songs in advance to build your confidence, or study them with your private instructor. It's the perfect way to both build your repertoire and gain experience playing with others.
